Books and Published Work
Tara Halliday’s published work includes books on imposter syndrome and its underlying root condition, along with contributions in leadership and relationships.
These publications reflect the development of the ideas and practical work that later became Inner Success. They remain part of the intellectual foundation of the methodology, but do not limit its current application.

Outsmart Imposter Syndrome
Author: Tara Halliday
Publisher: Rethink Press
Year: 2023
Recognition: Finalist, Business Book Awards 2024
Commercial status: Amazon Best Seller
This book presents Tara’s structured methodology developed for removing imposter syndrome. Rather than a series of coaching discussions, Inner Success is a structured framework; a momentum programme that shifts conditional to unconditional worth.
It is heavily based on the science behind this shift in a practical and tailored way. The last two chapters discuss how Inner Success does far more than eliminate imposter syndrome, and they describe the effects on leadership and the ripple effects in broader life experiences.
Although written from the starting point of imposter syndrome, the book demonstrates how shifting conditional worth is indeed a significant programme for leaders of all kind, irrespective of whether they identify with the label of imposter syndrome or not.
Unmasking: The Coach’s Guide to Imposter Syndrome
Author: Tara Halliday
Publisher: Rethink Press
Year: 2017
Tara’s first book, written for coaches and practitioners working with imposter syndrome. It set out the earlier understanding of the condition and indentified its root cause, laying the groundwork for the methodology that followed. The premise from the start was to resolve conditional worth as a means to end imposter syndrome, rather than addressing the symptoms themselves.
Contributor Chapters
Tara has also contributed chapters to multi-author collections on leadership and relationships, reflecting the broader relevance of the underlying work beyond imposter syndrome alone.
